Positive story after MC

Hello everyone

I used to spend a lot of time lurking, occasionally posting, in this part of MN but haven't been back for a while.

I have had 4 early mcs; all before 12 weeks. Never got sent for tests because after the first two, DS1 was born. Also had various other Gynae/pregnancy related problems.

I thought, at various points, that I'd never have a baby at all, or that DS would have to be an only (I was always very very grateful to have him but also always wanted a large family).

Anyway, at times I nearly despaired. It got pretty dark. So I hope you don't mind me coming back to say that now I have 3 beautiful children - it was all ok in the end (I hope and pray they stay happy and healthy of course) - and what Dr Regan says in her book is true - in most cases, it really IS more likely to be ok than to not be.

Good luck to you all.

Congratulations, thank you for sharing such a lovely story. I had a MMC with what would have been DC#2 and had medical management yesterday. Can't wait to get my BFP later in the year!

Thanks guys Smile I was worried about seeming all "look at how well it turned out for me". But also I remember reading a post on here during one of the low points, where someone was saying she'd had 2 MCs, then a successful pregnancy, then 2 more MCs and then another success - and I though - that could be me! And it did give me hope, which turned out to be not unfounded.

Good luck, good luck to you all.
