That night i started to spot, then sunday bleeding got a bit more heavy just when wiping after toilet really, then tuesday got heavier again, but its not like period bleeding as its mostly when i wipe, didnt fill a pad in one day, stil bleeding small amounts today (thursday) a week tomorrow i found out, didnt really experience any pain only when i sit or move awkwardly did another test yesterday afternoon and was negative, will be visiting doc tomorrow but want other peoples opinions please. i have come to the conclusion that it was definately miscarriage so i dont get my hopes up !  p.s very new to this site !Smile Smile

I'm sorry that sounds like a chemical pregnancy/very early miscarriage, where you conceived and the embryo tried to implant and produce HCG, hence your positive test, then something went wrong, HCG levels drop and your period arrived. If you now have a negative test I'm afraid that's pretty conclusive (it's possible to bleed and still be pregnant but you'd still have a positive test) There is nothing the doctor can or will do, but it's worth having it entered on your medical records. In most cases everything will be fine next time. Even though it was early it can hit you quite hard emotionally, so take care of yourself. Flowers

I doubt they will scan you as pre 6weeks there is nothing to see that will indicate if a pregnancy is viable, and conversely no material to 'retain'. I would think they'll do a pregnancy test and ensure it's now negative. If you do have a scan it will be a transvaginal one - they are fine, but better to be mentally prepared for that. Hope they are kind and you get some certainty from it.
