How long?

I know nobody can answer but how long will this go on for?
Feeling quite down tonight :(
It's only the 4th day but after yesterday I thought the worst was over. Hopefully it still is and this is just everything settling down.

Hi there Treacle, I'm currently going through my second miscarriage (happened on Saturday) and I just want to let you know it will get easier.
Your body will still have hold of the preg hormones which don't help with how you're feeling. I had an awful day yesterday where I could not stop crying. Today, I feel a bit better- have left the house and done a few normal things.
It's such an exhausting process, physically and mentally.

Mine started Saturday. I have been in so much pain I've not been able to do much. A lot of bleeding, pain and clots came yesterday so was hoping I was past the worse. Did more today but tonight I'm in pain again. Not as bad but it's there. I just so hope I won't have a repeat of yesterday.

A crap Saturday for us both huh? It is different for everyone. I passed the sac on Saturday then had a huge blood loss Sunday morning. Am still losing small clots but am not in pain apart from the odd niggle. Have you been to the Drs? After my first MC everything returned to normal relatively quickly but I wasn't as far along as I was this time.
Maybe a bath would help? Or a hot water bottle and pain relief. Hope it settles for you soon!

Definitely. It was my birthday yesterday and I spent about 3/4 hours in a&e.
Been to the doctors but only to ask for a note for work as I've been to hospital each time the bleeding was worrying.
I've had co-codamol which has taken the edge off. Just hoping it's the tail end and no more big clots will come. I'd be 9 weeks tomorrow but my 8 week scan showed a 6 week sized sac.
