After ERPC, could this be my period?

I had an ERPC last wednesday when I should have been 9 weeks, after being told the baby was measuring only 5 - 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat.

ERPC went fine. I bled a little bit on the day itself and then nothing at all afterwards - no pain in the days after either.

However, yesterday I started bleeding and I still am today. Could this be my period returning or is it still far too soon?

Far too soon. Not unusual for bleeding post MC to be stop-start though so I would assume it's a small amount of material left behind. Your period is likely to take 4-6 weeks after a natural MC but can be longer after an ERPC.

I agree with baking, it's too soon. I read somewhere you have to have at least 21 days between when the bleeding after the procedure stops and any new bleed for it to count as a period.

I bled lightly for around a week after my erpc, then three weeks later got my first period.

My period was 30 days after my ERPC, it was really really heavy bleeding (as heavy as the MC) and over within 48hrs, very unlike a normal period. As I was then pregnant again before another one I had to assume it was AF. I've seen a few sauces suggesting first AF after MC or birth is a 'clear out' and one of the reasons not to try again straight away, so perhaps this was your 'clear out'?
