How long after Ectopic before trying again?

It 2 weeks since my surgery and physically I feel much better, mentally still very sad but we think we'd like to try again as soon as we're able to.

Some info says three months but other says wait for one period (I think mostly American websites - I'm in the UK)

How long did any of you wait before TTC again?

We had unprotected sex a few times before my first period post ectopic (June 2013) then tried every month before falling pregnant in November 2013. I'm now 28 weeks.
I know it's recommended to wait...at least 2 periods I think. Everyone is different and feels ready at different times. Why not wait for your period and then see how you feel?
