How much blood loss is normal?

It was confirmed I was miscarrying on Sunday night/early hours of Monday morning, at 7+3.

I passed the "product" that evening after an injection but 3 days on I'm still soaking a maternity pad every 2/3 hours and in quite a lot of pain.

Is this normal? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Wash it and keep it until they got here(could see the head and everything :(..) i was bleeding like you for about 2weeks, after i passed baby it did seem to slow down. I couldnt wait to get back to work i was going crazy! Worst christmas and new year of my life!! If it is no better by tomoz id go back to the hospital as you need to be carefull of infection. Again im so sorry it makes you think why me! Hope some other peeps pop along soon to offer you some hugs. Try and stay strong aswell as this is going to help you recover x

Thank you, it has been difficult. Would be much easier to deal with if it wasn't for the pain!

I just went to the toilet and had to pull something out? I laid it on a tissue and it was about 10cm long- I thought it might have been a big clot but it was definitely more substantial
Does anyone know what it could be? I definitely passed what they wanted me to at the hospital so I was a bit surprised to see it
