Immunology testing for recurrent miscarriage

Hi, I was directed to a pregnant on Pred thread on another post but can't find it on here.

I've just had my third MC in 16 mths and had all tests the NHS can offer, which were clear.

Anyone in Scotland had private immunology testing that can advise on a clinic (I'm pretty central so most city clinics would be fine,) costs and what to expect? I've done an Internet search but getting either voicemails or told they don't support uterine NK testing. I'm almost 43 so I'm keen to get a move on. Smile

HI Fackinell

The pregnant on pred thread is here on the conception board.
You would also get great support on the RMC thread on this board.

I'm not aware of anyone in Scotland testing for NK cells. The only places I know of are Profs Quenby/Brosens in Coventry and Drs Shehata/Gorgy in London. Prof Q runs a £350 one-visit clinic with consult, scan and biopsy all done in one afternoon, then a telephone follow up. I travelled 100 miles to see her and did not regret it. You could contact her secretary and ask if they are aware of anyone in Scotland running the tests?

Thank you, Bakingtins! I couldn't remember which post you'd mentioned this on and where the thread was. I shall give them a call. Grin
