dark bleeding after erpc?

hello
I had an erpc last thurs. I'm getting really really dark bleeding. is that normal? they said to expect some bleeding but I didn't expect it to be so dark?

Dear Starfish, sorry to hear that you have had a MC. I had an ERPC 2 months ago and my bleeding was dark dar red and brownish. I think this is normal because it is the old blood coming out. If it is fresh bright red and you have a temperature it is advised to get yourself checked over.

my dh very helpfully said that dark red/black blood was normal as If I was shot that's the colour I would bleed?! no idea how he knew that!
