First af since mmc and erpc...wil it ever end?

I had my second mmc and erpc at the beginning of Dec. Around 5 weeks after the erpc, af arrived. I had been told it was going to be quite a heavy one and it has been but on top of that it is just going on and on. It's now been 13 days. It's no longer heavy but I am constantly spotting fresh, red blood.
I know I don't have any "retained products" (hate that term!) but I just don't know if this is normal.
Anyone have something similar and everything be fine?

Hi, dont worry, I went through exactly the same, I had my last erpc in July, afterwards I bled a little everyday for a month, then had the period from hell which lasted just over two weeks, then it stopped. Although I have always been as regular as clockwork my next period wasnt until 5.5 weeks after that. Happily I concieved the following period and keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for this one.

Hi. Thank you for that. I was the same after this most recent erpc, bleeding everyday and I've just been wearing pads for 6 weeks now. Getting a bit glum about it, but glad to hear it can be 'normal'.
I hope that everything goes well with your pregnancy and your rainbow baby xx

thanks, I know how you feel, the continuous bleeding really gets you down, I had two previous erpc's due to miscarriages and they were nowhere near as bad, just the last one was awful. hope you recover soon and have the babies you want xx

My first period of my D&C lasted about a fortnight too.

I had something quite similar, too although my normal periods are also quite long. I looked at the first period as my body's chance to clean out and start again new and fresh, which helped quite a bit. There had been some questions about infection in the past so seeing fresh, clean non-smelly blood was a relief to me I suppose.
