so I had my first cycle in december after my miscarriage. me and my partner are tryimg again and have a track of my fertile days and ovulation days.

I'm due my period again on tuesday the 14th jan...

has anyone fell pregnant again after first cycle? and how did that pregnancy go?

I read all the stories on here where you have miscarries are miscarries... but then you hear individuals who have a healthy baby second time round! any advice for me would be much appreciated! I just couldnt imagine going through it all again!
thank you xxx Smile

Good luck babytinks Your chances of success after one MC are the same as they were in your first pregnancy, 85%
There are a lot of us on here who have had more than one MC but if you have a single MC, recover and then have a healthy baby you don't tend to hang around for long on miscarriage forums. It's only 1% of women who have a problem causing repeated miscarriages, most are caused by sporadic chromosome problems in the embryo and you'll be fine next time. It's an anxious time though, there are nice threads on conception and pregnancy boards for TTC and Pregnancy after miscarriage.

I will keep it all utd on the other thread when I get the news over the next coming months!

Hi
I also miscarried early Nov (after a mmc in July) but somehow I conceived again straight away and am now 9 weeks and throwing up 4 times a day (the joys!)....

fackinell · 12/01/2014 19:26

Hi Tinks, I MC in Oct and just found out today that I'm nearly 5 wks. I deliberately skipped a month in Nov to let my body recover. I've heard you are super fertile just after so good luck!! Thanks

Hi, I know your pain. I also miscarried in November, but in 2012. After a drunken, miserable Christmas I posted here asking for support. It worked. I'm now sitting here feeding my 11 week old son. I fell pregnant in January and he was born in October.

I held on to the stat that 85% of pregnancies are successful and my miscarriage meant the pregnancy wasn't meant to be. I wouldn't have my little boy if things had worked out differently. I also discovered miscarriage is much more common, it's just people don't talk about it.

Stay strong and take things one day at a time. It's all you can do x

Both of my sisters had a miscarriage and then soon followed by a successful pregnancy. Good luck

Rockchick1984 · 13/01/2014 12:45

I had a miscarriage April2013, had one AF then conceived that month. I'm due in 7 weeks with a little girl. Agree with posters above that one miscarriage statistically doesn't mean you will have any more problems, I was told its likely to be simply a genetic problem with the baby I lost and unlikely to happen again.

Hi babytinks, sorry for your loss. I too had a mc, but in October at around 7 weeks. I didn't fall pregnant the first cycle but have just found out I'm pregnant in the last few days, so it took 2 cycles. I'm feeling mega anxious although weirdly I feel more pregnant this time so holding onto that as a positive that my mc was just an unfortunate one off thing. Good luck to you when you poas Smile

babytinks89 · 14/01/2014 18:26

thank you lottystar, means a lot sharing that with me! my cycle is due today no sign yet... no feeking of it coming either,
all the best to you and congratulations! how far on are you do you know? Thanks
