I everyone, I'm having an ERPC at Northwick Park on Monday, any recent experiences there? I've heard mixed reviews, I don't know what to expect, and I'm quite nervous, after more than a month bleeding after a miscarriage. Thanks

I've never had general anaesthesia before, and the staff seems nice, but the communication not great between them, which doesn't give me any peace of mind. I have the chance of having it done private, but I've gone to far with them, test, dates....I'm quite scare, so I'll like to heard from anyone that has done it there

I'm sorry that you've had a MC.

I've had two - with ERPC following both but not at this hospital.

It's worth you doing a search as there's been a couple of threads on here fairly recently that have covered what you are likely to experience.

But please don't worry about it. I don't think you are under for long so after the procedure it won't be long before you are ready for tea and toast.

I think the amount of bleeding after an ERPC varies quite a lot from person to person but I think 7-10 days is pretty typical. I didn't need to take any pain relief at home.

I wish you well for Monday.
