Keep hopeful ......

At 39 I had fertility treatment for dodgy ovulation - and then had three miscarriages in a row. It was a miserable, miserable time. I then got pregnant again ...... no miscarriage ..... but went into labour at 7 months.

That 'baby' is now 13 and a dead-set normal stroppy-arsed teenager.

Keep going ladies. Dont you ever give up hope. That baby is waiting for you - you will get there. Just keep going.

Thanks for your positive story!

I'm just turning 39, only started TTC for the first time earlier this year, and had a mmc at 11 weeks followed by a mc at 5 weeks, and now trying again, but worried about mc again (though if I do, at least I can then get tested).....

When you eventually did have your baby was that after fertility treatment too, or did you conceive naturally?

Thank you for posting

I'm back TTC after my second MC (I already have a DD) and hoping that this time next year I will be holding a baby and typing one handed!

Yep I agree 10000%

After 7 miscarriages and giving up, I got a bfp COMPLETELY unexpectedly at 42, he is now 10 months old and sleeping snuggly beside me now.

I was waiting for my period after mc number 7 in order to take the pill that I had on my bed side cabinet. It never arrived!

I just wanted to say thanks for posting this. It's just what I need tonight. I'm 39. Have had two miscarriages this year. Last one a MMC in July. Since then, no luck conceiving and my AF arrived today. So I'm in a stinker of a mood.
So happy for you jimijack and mrsbright that it all came good in the end. As my brother said to me that other day. "If it's still shit, it's not the end". Which I thought was a rather inelegant way of saying something very comforting and hopeful.
Anyway, thank you!

Yes it can have a happy ending. We had six miscarriages then our 7th pregnancy ended with the full term birth of our healthy, happy DD who is now 21 months.
