ERPC one week on

Dear all,

I apologise in advance if TMI but some of the forums on the internet are scaring the life out of me!

I had an ERPC exactly one week ago. I found out at 12 weeks that the baby had died at 10 weeks. In the days following the proceedure I was fortunate to have very little cramping or bleeding (just slight brownish when I wiped) for last week. But today I have started feeling cramps and the blood is bright red with a couple of very small clots. I wondering if this is something to be concerned about or am I over-reacting? I barely need 2 pads a day, just blood when wiping. Also last night I decided to have a bit of a clear out of the kitchen cupboards and 'stuff' and maybe I over did it? Due to see doctor in a couple of days and then back to secondary school teaching in three days!

Any advice would greatly appreciated. I know I probably am being a bit silly but some material on the internet has made me worry. After having a ruptured ectopic 10 months ago, I am very wary to bleeding!

It's normal for the bleeding to stop and start, so if it's not heavy and you feel well in yourself then don't worry. If you get very heavy bleeding, any unpleasant smell or you feel unwell then get yourself checked out.
