Need to share

This day has been so tough. 8 years ago our last child was born far too early (at just over 14 weeks pregnancy). 18 years ago my oldest daughter was born. So today I have been celebrating and remembering. I can go to bed soon and tomorrow will be another day.

I think I can imagine... there must be such conflicting feelings for you, celebrating your eldest daughter reaching adulthood and grieving the loss of your little one who didn't make it to babyhood... both on the same day.

I suspect it would be quite draining emotionally.
