Painful 1st AF post MC?

Hi I had an early MC 5 weeks ago (was between 5-6 weeks). Iv had really painful cramps tonight (stopping me sleeping painful) and am really aching. Think my AF is on the way. Is it normal to be in a lot of pain first AF post MC?

Hello, how are you feeling? I know it's been a few days since you posted so I hope the pain has passed a bit? My first af after erpc after an mmc was more painful than before, but the next one was back to normal.

Hiya feeling a lot better thank you. I was in pain every evening for a week (no idea why just evenings). Finally booked an appointment with my GP and then my period arrived and the pains have gone. Period is heavier than usual but everything seems to be returning to normal again now.

My cycles were vile and painful after my 1st and 3rd. I have found that taking those pricy "vitabiotics" vitamins + fish oil + vitamin B complex has helped (suggested by a gynie doc so the usual "check with a medic before popping pills" advice applies ) it's made my cycle steadier and my pain less.

DH also said it's helped with my evil evil PMT too LOL.
