How long after m/c until next period?

Hi everyone,
I had a mmc and opted for medical management back in mid august. I bled for 4 weeks on and off. I am still waiting for my next period , I have done a p.test which was negative just to rule out an early pregancy , so I know I am not pregnant, but how long should it take for my first period, I just want everything to be normal again so we can ttc. How long did others take for their first period after m/c? X

Hi Happydust, mine came 4 weeks after but it was a mmc and happened on its own so different from your situation. It seems to vary a lot between people.

Mine have been about 5 weeks from start of miscarriage, but have heard of it taking up to 12 weeks. Everyone is different.

Mmc at 16 weeks mine came after 9 weeks

ERPC on 7 december after missed MC, bled on an off for about 2 weeks, period on 7 january.

I'm praying my cycle gets back to normal quickly. MC on Wednesday this week and bleeding has been very, very, very light since Friday so I'm hoping a get a clear "break" in the bleeding so that I can work out ovulation dates etc as I'd like to try again very soon.
