What are the chances?

My best friend has just had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. She has taken two lots of Clomid and is desperate for a baby. She is 44. What are the chances of her naturally conceiving again? Would she better to keep going with Clomid or have a go at IVF?

I'd post on the fertility boards too. Since IVF has pretty low success rates I think if she can get pregnant naturally then that's probably the way to go, but she needs to talk to a specialist about it. How long did it take to concieve the baby she lost?
There are tests available to see what your ovarian reserve is like (antimullerian hormone levels) but not available on the NHS. That might give her an idea of her chances.
Flowers for her, it's an extra kick in the teeth to lose a baby when the pregnancy was so hard-won in the first place.

Found this but you may not want to show her at the moment, it's not encouraging.

Thank you both for replying. I guess there is some hope but it looks minimal. I will post on the fertility board too.
