I sadly miscarried my first pregnancy at 11 weeks and two days, just over a week ago. I opted to do this naturally and stopped bleeding yesterday. Today I have a hellish headache...possibly a migraine...and feel like I am going to black out when I stand up. I have googled "headache after miscarriage" and it seems quite common.
Has anyone else had this and know the cause? Is it stress, hormones, lack of iron? My iron levels were fine when tested in hospital after the worst of the bleeding so I don't think it's that. If it is purely hormone related I wonder how long it will last. I have been off work for over a week and was feeling physically (though perhaps not emotionally) ready to go back this week , until the headache struck. Thankfully my boss had already told me to take more time off!
