Using tampons?

Hi,

I've read online that I'm not supposed to use tampons after mc, but was wondering whether it would be ok for about an hour or so? I'm not bleeding heavily, just spotting brown (not enough to fill a pad)...and will be in my second week after a very early and quite "problem-free" mc. I really want to go swimming, but don't want to have a "leak" in the pool. I've got mini tampons and they'd easily cope for that time without filling up.

Sorry, if this is a stupid question.

Thanks.

You're not supposed to use either in a postnatal bleed. I think if you want to risk it being at the end and as it's a short time then it's up to you, I'd certainly say don't risk it early on.

you're not supposed to go swimming until you bleeding has syopped completely. it's because of infection risk from the pool.

I bled for five weeks and was desperate to go for a swim, it sucks.

Thanks all. Will have to wait a while longer then, I guess. Sad Swimming is one of the things that actually helps me relax. Rugby is too risky when ttc in general. Alright, off to trying pilates again, then...Hmm
