Posting in here because I can't face AIBU.
I had a phone call last week from the appointment secretary for a clinic I'd been referred to because I was pregnant for a pre-existing health condition to say they'd made me another appointment today. I explained that I'd lost the baby, but she said that my GP had requested the appointment and that I should still go. It seemed foolish to refuse the appointment as my GP could have requested a follow-up when I saw her before my ERPC, so I went.
The first thing the doctor said when I sat down was "How's your baby doing?"
And when I explained that I'd miscarried he was really stroppy, said there was no need for me to be there, and seemed to feel I was to blame was wasting his time. He could barely get me out of the room fast enough. He didn't apologise. During my mc I had an appointment at the EPU and an ERPC, both shown in my hospital notes - which he had in front of him.
I've emailed the trust to complain but I'm now wondering if I've overreacted...?
