Hi ladies

I know we are all spread far and wide over the uk and further but wanted to tell someone about the excellent care I have received this week after finding out my pregnancy was not viable.

I live in Cambridgeshire and my local hospital is 'Hinchingbrooke NHS Trust' the EPU who scanned me were amazing - they gave me all the options available to me and gave me time to make my decision about what to do.

The doctors and nurses that looked after me before and after my ERPC were caring and understanding and generally made what is a horrible life experience easier to deal with. This is my 2nd miscarriage in 4 months and they have really supported me through this horrible time.

People are so quick to complain about the NHS these days I wanted to share a positive story x

Hi mummy nice to hear a positive story.

I too received excellent care from the hospital. I also work there as a nurse and like you say people are quick to complain.

I wrote a letter to the chief exec on the day of my ERPC and received a lovely hand written card back which touched me. Do put pen to paper if you feel inclined, the staff will really appreciate it.

Sorry to hear of your losses x

Hi mummy

I too received excellent care for my mmc, ERPC then infection following the procedure. Everything was explained in detail, why it was happening ect and what to expect afterwards.

I'm glad some hospitals are stepping up andnsupportingbus emotionally as well as physically at such a traumatic time xp

Yes I also received nothing but kindness from my EPUB (ealing). There is a link on the miscarriage association website for hospital feedback, I gave good feedback but now will write too I think.
