Odd first period after ERPC

Sorry to post and run but I could do with some quick advice if anyone can help.

I had an ERPC just over a month ago, it was straight forward and I had very little bleeding afterwards. I've just had my first period since and it's been very odd - watery (and I mean clear liquid) with old blood clots, a little bright red bleeding and all over in about 3 days.

I'm sure that when I've had previous periods post mc they've been heavier than usual with a fair amount of bleeding.

Is it worth mentioning this odd lightness to my GP?

It is possible that there's nothing to worry about, but if it is very unusual for you maybe it is best to ask gp.

first periods after ERPC can vary greatly depending on a lot of factors, so it really is hard to tell what's normal and what's not.

instead of gp, could you contact the hospital, where you had the surgery, for advice?
