One sided afterpains

Hi all

I had an ERPC 2 weeks ago. Prior to this I had numerous blood tests (HCG 9000+, PG 180) and endless scans which ruled out ectopic to the satisfaction of 4 docs and a consultant.

In terms of recovery twinges, I'm getting them more on my right than my left. This was the side the luteal cyst was on. Does anyone think this is anything to worry about? The pains are just mild aches and twinges, do not even require paracetamol.

Sorry being a bit paranoid.

Hi Squiz, maybe your luteal cyst has yet to "go down" so bowel movements past it are giving you the twinges

It should go down eventually but if it's really sore go back to your GP/ EPU as you may need a scan to check it.

Thanks, yep that is exactly what I thought it was! DH keeps repeating that they did 8 scans, bloods would rule out ectopic (PG much, much too high as was HCG) so it's "that gland thing and stuck poo" as he scientifically calls it! Smile

I will go to GP if it continues.
