Ectopic November - 1 tube left.....

Hi guys, I had an ectopic that had started to rupture November,resulting in right tube removal, since then I feel like I can feel everything in my left tube, from ovulation to next AF coming.
What's your stories after ectopic?
Are people generally more in tune?

I certainly feel ovulation a lot more since mine. I think maybe I now have some adhesions that make the difference.

It's good to hear its not my head making it up lol, it's the stranger feeling.

Only have 1 tube (not through ectopic though), 2 kids conceived within 2 months of trying each time.

I almost always know which side I'm ovulating on

Yes I think you become much more aware of your body and sensitive to every little twinge in that area.

It's also possible that after your surgery you may have some adhesions which can niggle.

I always know and I've barely got one tube!

One completely removed and one partly removed from 2 ectopics and I'm not in the slightest bit in tune!

I think because I know it's not possible to get pg, I don't take much notice of when the last one was!

Oh, probably should have said, mine were about 7 years ago, so maybe I'm desensitize to it now.

Maureenmlove- that's soo sad to hear, I hope you find a lot of support on here. Maybe your one of those people who are here to save the needy I.e adoption/ fostering etc.

It must make you sooo sensitive! I deffo know every twinge.
I'm surprised soo many of you already or post op conceived.
It's been 6 months now and I feel a bit like I've failed and it may never happen.
I have had 4 pervious miscarriages, maybe there is something to help me one day but as much as I'd love a baby in my life to make myself and my partner whole I'm 23 so I have some time if things don't work out.

I'm fine, really. I was lucky enough to have DD before my ectopics. She's 17 now and life is just fine.

I didn't have MN when it all happened, but I did have my rl support. I rarely post about it, as I don't have a positive ending to conceiving after ectopic and I don't like to advertise it.

I am very lucky to have had DD before, so in a way, I am far, far luckier than a lot of woman. I cannot begin to imagine how hard it must be, but there are lots and lots of positive stories, so don't take on board my 1 in a million situation too much!

Ahhh I'm so glad to hear you have a daughter I bet she is one lucky girly!
It's a shame there wasn't the support there when you needed it most, I know what you mean about broadcasting it, I suppose there is no need in your eyes as it was some time ago and I agree life goes on.
There are so many fantastic people on here that throw so many answers and support my way I'm sooo great full for all of you.

I must admit though I'm always being told with any of my pregnancies not to expect the worst and to be positive but that's a struggle.
I'm never sure what to think.

I had my right hand tube removed due to an ectopic pregnancy and 14 months later became pregnant with DD (at 39). It took only 6 months to get pregnant with DS and I was 41. I have always had ovulation pains and know exactly which side I am ovulating from.

I'm sure before my EP I ovulated a few days after AF but since I think it has changed to a more regular mid cycle.
How did u feel about your first BFP after EP?

Good to hear some positive outcomes - I've just had a cornual ectopic which was managed incredibly well by my local hospital who had me in theatre before anything ruptured. Left tube removed, but right tube all nice and clear and have held on to both ovaries.
One week after surgery, still feeling v sore and v up and down, but am lifting my head a little more day by day.
Had an HCG blood test today so hopefully I'll get the all clear tonight, and roll on first AF and getting back to normal.
How did pregnancy feel after going through everything shallwe? I'm 38, so worried about time left to do this...
