Weird AF after MCs

I posted this in Conception too, but maybe this topic is more appropriate.
I tried googling and searching here, but I'm not quite sure what to search for.
I've had 2 MC, one after the other. Since then I've had 3 periods. They are not the same as before. I used to bleed for maybe 5 days, petering out by day 5.
These last 3 have been normal bleeding for 4 or 5 days, followed by about 4 days of brown spotting. This latest one is still brown spotting, very lightly and I'm on CD 11.
What does this mean?
After the MCs my gp did investigative blood tests to see if there was any obvious reason for the MCs but nothing showed up.
I'd like to know if this spotting is a sign of something that may have caused the MCs or if it could mean I'm deficient in anything I could take to up my chances next time.

I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. I had a mc in September and AF has been a bit weird since then. I normally start with 2/3 days of light spotting, then a 2 days of heavy bleeding and then another day or so of spotting. I was on the pill for about 14 years but before that AF wasn't really like this. When she arrived she arrived. None of the spotting malarkey!

I feel as though my mc has had an impact on my cycles. I'm not sure if this is a good or a bad thing to be honest. Will keep my FX for a BFP for us both xxx
