Someone please help me miscarriage or not?

Hello looking for advice.

Currently trying for a baby, done a first response pregnacy test 4 days before my period was due and to my delight was positive, done another one 2 days later again positive. On my due date of my period again I done a test, this time a digital clear blue and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks, that was Monday.

Then on Tuesday the next day I had a bleed. I intially brown in colour then more fresher, not very heavy.. My periods are usually heavy but worried I called my gp. He sent me to my local early pregnacy department the following day,, before I went I did a digital test again and same result,

So I go to the clinic, they ultra sound me and see nothing, they do an external ultra sound and see nothing, so they take blood tests and send me home, I'm in no pain.. So then they call me this morning and tell me I'm not pregnant, it's not showing in my blood. The bleeding is away completely. It seemed more like spotting than bleeding. I done a home pregnacy test today and both were negative. Could I have suffered a miscarriage? I'm devastated x

Sorry Haybo, sounds like you suffered a v early miscarriage, sometimes called a chemical pregnancy. Embryo starts to produce HCG, giving you a positive test, then something goes wrong with implantation and you have a bleed around the time your period was due. At that early stage if you then have a negative test you don't need any follow up. The next period after MC is sometimes v heavy if your womb lining wasn't shed completely on this cycle.
It's still very tough emotionally, however early it was. Hope you have people IRL to be kind to you.
