Currently miscarrying with a chemical pregnancy

Knew I was pregnant all week (4 of cycle) and have just started to bleed and cramp, so I'm sure I am miscarrying (period due in a day or two). This would then be my third miscarriage in total and this year. But do the NHS count chemical pregnancy miscarriages as a third to get the tests?? Just wondered if anyone knows.

Thanks so much,

I went to the EPU to confirm pregnancy, so that it would be on record
But if you're not far along enough for HCG to show, there's not much they can test, I don't think.
Have you had a positive pg test?

My GP took my word for it that I'd had a positive test. But GPs vary so much, it's impossible to say if another would without at least a positive blood test. It's worth a go though - mine said that he thought chemical pregnancies counted.

Thanks so much everyone. That was slightly my guess that it would rather depend on the GP trusting you. Now really wish I'd at least called last week to let them know I thought I was. Unfortunately, no, not positive test. Though I suspect if I tried on Thurs I would have done (tried too early and late). I will call my GP and we will just see.
Even though it is So early and only 'knew' for 4 or 5 days do feel really disappointed. Its been a tough year with a PMP, laproscopy for suspected ectopic and 3 ERPC's would have been good to have some good news. Very flat.

Thanks again everyone..

I suspect unless you have had a positive test they won't count it. I'm sorry that you've had such a crappy year. TTC particularly after a MC is very emotionally draining, every month you have your hopes raised then dashed. There's a nice thread on the conception board for those TTC after recent MC - so busy it's on thread 3 since I last MC in September. It's been a help to have others going through the same thing, you're very welcome to join if you'd find it helpful.

Is it wrong that I'd be tempted just to say you had a positive test, maybe add a few days on? If you really are that sure, seems fair for you to get the tests.
