I miscarried at 16 weeks, was medically managed because it was silent - been to see the consultant today and there was nothing wrong with chromosomes, no infection, placenta fine, my bloods fine... We didn't opt for a post-mortem because I think I convinced myself it was a chromosome problem that caused mc - everyone kept saying that was most likely.
Because nothing showed up on the tests that were done, would it be likely that there was something congenital wrong with the baby? What might a post-mortem have shown? I need an alternative story to the the one I have been playing in my head about it being chromosomal and natures way etc... I am also aware that trying to answer why is futile though :(
