is this my first period????

ok so had erpc on 31st of oct spotted (it was mucusy blood stuff) for 3 and a half weeks stopped when i had antibiotics
well i started bleeding again today, but it dosnt feel like a period, i hav a really heavy flow and come on like someones turned a tap TMI i know but this blood is more like thin bright red mucus blood. is this normal? i hav been abit more emotional the past few days so would maybe suggest period but it dosnt feel right
the blood is too slimey....
advice??

My first one was odd. Lots of clear slime/mucus with a bit of blood in it, rather than just blood as it would normally be. Whether it should be like that I don't know though....

was ur one after that normal?

That was the only one I've had so far.

Had ERPC mid Oct, and didn't have a period - assuming that's what it was - until 6 weeks afterwards. It lasted for 11 days and ended about a week ago.

ugh i think im the same as u, mine are normally really heavy and this is crap, have u seen ur gp? im ringing mine tomorro as im sick and just want to get back to bloody normal and i know that this isnt normal and im going to end up bleeding for 2 weeks!

I haven't seen the GP. Mine's as useful as a chocolate teapot.

I've got a follow up with the consultant who did my ERPC in 6 weeks time so I'll mention it then. Hopefully I'll have had another period by then too (I'm not allowed to get pg at the moment) so I'll see how that goes.

Have you had a lot of pain with it? Mine was excruciating before it came and during the first few days. Much worse than normal period pain.
