Hi all, new to this site, one of the lovely ladies on here directed me to this site as id posted on another board.
Just needed to share with folk that know how all this feels...

Got a bfp 6th november...started spotting not long after, turns out i was 2 week less than i thought at that point, and had got a bfp on cd21!
Went for a scan, in which the found a gestational sac, but nothing else...the scan a week later showed development of the yolk sac, but now, 10 days later, i should be 7.5 weeks, theres been no more development...and no baby.... the nurses at the epau have been lovely, but told me to be prepared for a miscarriage....
Just feel so sad, this baby was unexpected, but very much wanted :-(

They have offered me tablets to bring on the miscarriage, but i dont want that...id rather things happened naturally...

Really sorry to hear that OP. Sad

The good news is though that you got your BFP and you can try again soon. Take care of yourself.

Thanks RileyTheLittleMonster

Ive had 2 pregnancies ive sailed through, but from the beginning i guess this one has been causing problems. My partner is wonderful, but im in England and hes in Ireland...so does make it a little more complicated for the hugs i could do with.
Want to go with the natural miscarriage...just not sure how long it will be before it will start...so more bloody waiting!

Atleast you have two healthy babies and a partner to keep you pre occupied. I had 2 D&C's after loosing Riley. And a natural miscarriage, they both are unpleasant.

Best of luck for the future, if you need support post in here. Hope you get through it. X

Hi Lavender
I'm in your boat too - BFP on 7th Nov but just got back from my second scan this afternoon and bean was only 4.2MM (should be more like 7mm)

I have another scan on the 28th of Dec - but been told to expect to MC before then, and if not by then - will have to look into a D&C

I have DS (2) to look after and it was all so straight forward with him

Not looking forward to the bleeding and cramps Sad

Hi chocolateteabag

I hope that there is better news for you at your next scan.... if youre anything like me, the waiting is the thing that drives you nuts the most.

My next scan is the 20th dec, to see if ive miscarried etc.... if not, ive been offered the tablets to bring it on....but thats just as scary to me, if not more, than it happening naturally....

Mother nature has already started the process - got cramps and a bit of blood last night, more in the morning. Then mid morning everything "fell" out (sorry if TMI) but it didn't hurt. I'm still bleeding a little with mild period pains but nothing like the cramps I've read some people get so really hoping I'll be lucky and it'll be all over soon.

All I've read so far leads me to think that I'd ask for an ERPC over the tablets, more invasive but over much quicker. I may still need one if everything isn't out.
Hope everything is sorted out as quickly and painlessly as possible for you Lavender - I have already ordered some poas tests to use in a couple of weeks to check I get a BFN, then want to get back on the horse ASAP

Looking for silver linings - can have a Christmas drink (or 3) and supposed to be more fertile after mcConfused so fx for Jan/feb BFP's

Im sorry to hear that chocolateteabag....its never the outcome we want, but im i hope you will be feeling better very soon

Ive had a read through with the tablets vs ERPC and i think thats the way id prefer to go too, if mother nature doesnt do it for me...ive had a small amount of bleeding, but then it goes away, its not even worth wearing a pad for at the moment.

Im liking the silver lining thoughts...i think we could be a due a drink (or 3) ...and im hoping to try again in the new year too :-D
