Hi, I started bleeding on Sunday and got v heavy by end of day. I was in early days of pg. I had cramping but bearable. the bleeding has really calmed down but had a massive headache since last night and feel sick. Don't know whether I briefly fell asleep at lunchtime or passed out but have been feeling a bit dizzy and knackered. Is this all normal for m/c or should I try and see go tomorrow?

Call your epu now and see if anyone is there.

If not, call them in the morning.

Unfortunately it does sound like a mc, but it may not be, and you need to get checked over to check you are ok.

Let us know how you get on

I have no real experience of this and I'm sure someone who has will be along shortly. But it sounds to me like you need to go to A&E rather than wait until tomorrow. Or at least call NHS 111. Hope you're ok.

Have you spoke to the early pregnancy unit or someone princess?

It's a section of the hospital or maternity unit specifically dedicated to early pregnancy. If you google epu and your local area you should get a number.

They deal with all early pregnancy issues.

Please contact them princess

Hi princess. How are you feeling this morning? I do think you should get yourself checked out today. Even if you are feeling better it's important that the miscarriage is noted on your medical records. Most early pregnancy units will require a GP referral, but often if you speak to the GP on the phone they'll just fax a referral through - there tends not to be much a GP can do to tell you what is going on. Depending how far along you were they may take a negative pregnancy test as evidence that the pregnancy has ended or may need to scan you to make sure. IME it's normal to feel physically crap afterwards so take it easy, but if you are at all worried please go and see someone.
