Do they stay the same?

Had a mc four weeks ago. I was six weeks preg when I started to bleed and had heavy loss for three days.

But I haven't had a period since and am currently three days late.

Hi, sorry to hear of your loss. my first AF was 37 days after my mmc. 2nd Cycle was 31 days long. Normal for me is 28 days. So yes cycle lengths are different and from speaking to various other MNers they may never be the same.

im not sure theres such a thing as late especially after a m/c it messes with ur cycles and it can take up to 6wks for af to come for some its longer.
after my first mc af came excatly when i wouldve expected it too i got pregnant in the next cycle. ive lost that one too. but this time my first af was 32days and second was 26days im expecting the next one anytime after the next week and a half if that makes sense. its horrible not knowing when af will turn up. but if i were you i wouldnt worry to much. u didnt say if uve been trying to get pregnant this cycle?
sorry ur going through this too

My recent miscarriage has made my cycles slightly longer. They were around 26 days before, now - after my first period came very quickly indeed, less than 4 weeks post-ERPC - are around 29/30 days. My cycles have always been very regular so it's quite noticeable.

I had three mcs before this most recent one, as well as two live births, and they always returned to regular-ish afterwards, within a 26 to 29-day span.

sorry heels im going to hijack a bit here, was going to start a fred but will just ask here.
any ideas when i should expect my next period? what was the first being 32days after the d&c and the next 26days thats quite a difference!. i always had 30day cycles. id guess at 28days for my next one just a random guess really. if thats right i shouldve ovulated on wednesday. usually i opk but didnt this month. i defo had ovulation symptoms over the weekend, so im wondering if i had ovulated before wednesday and would that then give me the short 26day cycle again.
hope that makes sense!

I've had two early m/cs, as well as two DCs. Both times it took about 4 months for my cycle to settle down. After each m/c and birth my cycles have setteld into a slightly different length e.g. become a day longer, or a day shorter etc.

Thanks to everyone who has responded.

My cycle is really out of sync and I'm a bit irritable at the moment! So I know it will be soon, but no idea when.

We are still TTC, but the four pregnancy tests and the irritability tell me that its not been a successful month. I might reconsider and wait until my cycles settle again.

Cartoon - hijack away! I hope this month is successful for you :)

Heels sorry about your MC. I'm in a similar position. I'm on CD45 post mc and no AF. I've done about 20 pg tests and all BFN so just waiting for it to come now. My advice would be to expect it to be v late and if it comes soon then consider it a bonus Wink!!!
