Probable 5th miscarriage

I had 4 previous miscarriages, around the 5 week mark. The scans could only see an empty sac and I was bleeding even before I got a positive test. Before those, I had a son.

This time I was really hopeful because I had no bleeding until 7 days ago at 5 weeks 5 days. A scan showed a heartbeat.

I have had bleeding every day since. It is very mild, but has definitely increased. At first, I was hoping it was a cervical polyp (which I already know I have). But I think this is just wishful thinking. I feel like I do when I start my period.

Does anyone have similar experiences. I don't know what to do.

Sorry to hear you're going through this Phelan, I think the only way to know for sure will be to rescan, could you go to your EPU in the morning?
I've had bleeding that turned out to be nothing, at 9wks and 15wks with my DD2, but more recently bleeding that indicated impending miscarriage so it could be either.
In early pregnancy you can experience cramping just like feeling your period is about to start that's quite normal so even that isn't a definite sign.
A scan would put your mind at rest ,fingers crossed it's a good result for you.
