It's not that the womb is rejecting healthy eggs it's that the womb is super fertile and getting poor grade non-viable embryos implant rather than pass through.

There have been a few papers published on this. The more i read the more I think this is the reason for my recurrent Mc.

My dp has a low sperm count. Less than 1% of which are 'normal forms'

Technically we should have had trouble conceiving but I got pg 5 times in just under 2 years. Lost the first 4.

I got pg with my first dc while on depo provera injections and my second while on the pill.

When ttc dc3 I always got pgs the first month of trying.

Those definitely needs to be looked into more.

And I think it is great that prof Quemby is interested in the theory too.

This isn't an area that I really look at so not seen the information before.

I just think it's fantastic that they may have a found a reason that could then be possibly treated that could help many women. Alternatively at the very least it's an understandable reason as to why recurrent miscarriage has occured and it isn't that their body is failing them it's that the embryo was never feasible in the first place.

Of course it would be wonderful if getting pregnant, staying pregnant and having a healthy baby wasn't such an uphill struggle for so many couples Sad

I found this very interesting. I had three miscarriages aged 41-42 and then got pregnant and had DD at 43.

I was obviously unusually fertile but also unlucky with the first three.

This could go some way to explaining what appears to be my "super fertility".

This is very interesting. I had 4 mc before dd1 and always conceived within 2-3 months of trying. One month DH had been seriously I'll and in hospital pumped full of lies of Iv drugs. We were amazed I still conceived as we thought his doerm would have been affected. Maybe they were!

Not sure what i think of the findings but the replies on this thread are giving me hope today- currently waiting on the sofa for 3rd MC to start, so great to hear that you all got there in the end. Thanks
