Bleeding after miscarriage

I had my first miscarriage 5 weeks ago with what would have been my 5th child.

I bled for about 9 days afterwards and then after a wait i managed to get a negative pregnacy test (25th June) The following day i got my af and that lasted about a week and was fairly heavy, but i guess that was to be expected. My af finished last tuesday and then this morning i passed a clot and have started bleeding again..

Is this normal? I'm starting to get a bit of cramping but dont want to both the Dr's if this is normal.

Could be some retained placenta which might mean you need to be scanned to avoid infection. Are you feeling well? I would visit your GP to be sure (although bleeding in and off for weeks can be perfectly healthy, it's probably worth checking just in case).

I called the EPAU and Dr's and neither were interested. Bleeding has slowed, so am guessing that the clot must have been the last of it.

Glad the bleeding has slowed. Less so that the nhs were indifferent Hope you are physically back to normal ASAP x
