Im sure that what I'm going through has happened to others and I'd love some feedback regarding it. I missed my period by a week and took about 6 pregnancy tests to see if I was in the family way. 5 of the tests were positive although with faint lines. The 6th test was digital and said 'Pregnant 1-2 weeks' but later the same day I began bleeding. I barely had any pain at all but still headed to A&E to get checked out.

Did a urine test at hospital which was negative, had a blood test which was 4 (Doc said this was borderline pregnant?) doc arranged TV scan.

No Gestational sac, Uterine lining 15.7mm and Midline Echo intact (i have no idea what that is.)

They have told me to come back next week for another urine test and i have been bleeding for 24 hours now, it's bright red but not as heavy as my normal period. Btw I'm also RH Neg could this be a problem?

Any thoughts about this would be SO welcome especially if anyone has been through the same thing.

Thanks!!!

Hi, just wanted to tell you my own experience. First pregnancy, took a test and was positive on the Sunday. Monday at work, I began to bleed, bright red started with a gush. No pain. Had 2 blood tests 2 days apart which showed hcg levels were rising, epu would not see me until estimated 7 weeks. I bled till about 9 weeks, different colours and consistenciesand no reason could be given. I am also rh neg and was told that bleeding this early in pregnancy is not a problem, had anti d injections later on. Went on to have a healthy baby girl. In my experience the digital tests are not that accurate and unless you know the exact time you ovulated neither are your own dates. This differed by 2 weeks with my second child, by my dates he was a month late! This could have big implications for what could be seen on a scan. Your gp should be able to offer you the blood tests which show hcg to approx. Double every 48-72 hours. Fingers crossed.x

Thanks for responding, I went to the doctor this morning and she looked at my EPU report and said its not conclusive either way and is basically in the lap of the gods as to whether baby stays. Last night my bleeding stopped but after rushing at an almost run down to the docs this morn, I felt some more. I'm just going to carry on taking frolic acid just incase. thanks again!
