MMC and holiday

So sad to be writing this. Found out today that doctors believe I have had a MMC. I am supposed to be 7 weeks but looks like fetus stopped growing and around 5 weeks. No heartbeat today. Docs want me back for another scan on 11th June to confirm before I chose what to do.
My question is, we are supposed to be camping with my ds the jubilee weekend, is it too much of a risk going incase I start miscarrying naturally?

Sorry for your loss.
As to your question I would say it depends how you feel about it, I have had 2 early mc at 6 wks and they were like heavy periods so if you can deal with that whilst camping then it would be a shame to cancel but if you would feel uncomfortable and it would spoil it for you it is not worth going and upsetting yourself more than you need to at this time.
Take care of yourself.

Sorry to hear this. Same thing happened to me. How far away will you be camping? What I would suggest is that you make sure you have a supply of maternity sized sanitary towels with you just in case (I was going through one in less than an hour once it started), and that you make sure you know where the nearest hospital A&E is.

It seems a shame to miss your holiday when there is a likelihood that nothing will happen while you are away.

Thanks for your replies. Started cramping today so think things may happen this week. In a sad way I hope it does. Again think you for your kind words.
