Just that really - I'm blessed that I have 3 children but only one is biologically my husbands and he would have loved another. The elder two are 18 and 20 so not really children anymore...
I guess the next baby I care for will be a grandchild.
I'm really sad - was amazed to find out I was pg again a couple of weeks ago but lost it again... Prednisolone and clexane plus progesterone didn't help.
Sorry this is just cathartic rambling....

that's so sad, i'm sorry dropdeadfred i'm reeling after "just" one mmc, I can't begin to imagine how you are still sane after 12 and an EP.

Thanks foo fighter ( great name!!) sorry to hear you have had a mc. It sucks doesn't it? I'm okay really - just thought I would not get pg again (41 with only one tube) then found out I was 6 weeks and lost it a week later.... Why let me get miraculously pg just to take it away again??? Sigh

That's the thought going round in my head too. I had a diagnosis of unexplained secondary infertility for 5 yrs with now ex H, referred to IVF etc and then this happened out of the blue at 38yo whilst on the pill with my new partner (well not so new now but y'know..)
really makes you question things.

Has it made you want to try again straight away ?

OH does. We had planned trying in the next year or two but I always reckoned on it never happening due to history.

I think I will just go with the flow and what happens happens, what doesn't happen doesn't iyswim? After 5 yrs of TTC before I can't go through that mindfuck again!

Yes - I know the utter shit that ttc can be. We kind of gave up after my ectopic and loss of tube. Thought the odds were against us. Since then have hot pregnant only once a year on average and lost all 3 . I just cannot bring myself to truly give up and use contraception - just can't admit it will never be successful . Good luck with your laid back approach - we got our 6 year old that way!!
