Anyone else been given progesterone when still bleeding 3 weeks after ERPC?

I am just wondering what effect it has on your cycle, if any, as I'm keen to try again ASAP (and at 41, can't hang around!). Has anyone else taken progesterone and, if yes, did it kick-start your cycle as intended? Any problems subsequently?

Thanks for any info.

I took a course of Norethisterone for 10 days, after I hadn't stooped bleeding for 2 months after ERPC. It obviously did kick-start my cycle, as I conceived 2 weeks later and am currently 18 weeks pregnant. Good luck.

Hi there - not something I know a great deal about but shouldn't they be looking into why you are still bleeding? I thought that bleeding past 2 weeks after ERPC could mean that there are still some products of conception remaining? My understanding is that progesterone can stop bleeding (acts as some kind of anti inflamatory/anti irritant) but couldn't it just be masking a symptom?

Sorry if I've misunderstood your post.
