Period 3 weeks after ERPC?

Well I bled for over a week following my ERPC, and then it was on and off untill about 2 and a half weeks, quite light but still wearing a pad just in case, although most of the time nothing went on it.

Now it's 3 weeks and a couple of days, maybe 3 and a half weeks, and there's red again! I thought I'd at least get a break from bleeding til 5 or 6 weeks as I think that's what I was told.

Is this my period? Any experiences welcome.

Can't offer any words of wisdom, but sharing your confusion. I've had a similar experience to you. Had a natural miscarriage and bled for about 2 weeks, with it tapering off at the end. One week break from bleeding, then started up again quite heavily, although lasted less than a week. Because of the clear break I think it could have been my period, but was surprised as only 3 weeks post MC, and I generally have a longer than average cycle.

Everything I've read suggests 4-6 weeks, with most women having a longer cycle than ususal. I guess there are always exceptions though.

I'd read all these other ladies waiting and hoping for thier periods to arrive so they can get back to normal and try again, and although I do want to try again, I was looking forward to a few weeks rest from bleeding to be honest, and time to get used to everything that's happened and the loss.

I just hope this IS my period now I suppose, then at least there will be an end to it in a few days fingers crossed
