Whats Normal?? hmmm...

Hi Ladies, So Almost 7weeks ago i had a miscarriage. I had my 1st 'period' on Tuesday night (11 ishpm) was gone by Friday. There was NO clots and wasn't really alot. any way today again ive have discharge with streaks of blood in. and abit of blood, but only when i wiped none on towel i had put on! is this normal? I also have (as far as ino ) an ovarian cyst they found after my miscarriage on a scan! i had a follow up scan yesterday, was told usualy results take two weeks to come back, but with my history i willl no in 7days! any reassurance please?? going mad here haha xx

i had a missed miscarriage many 7 years ago and remember having discharge for many many weeks afterwards - a real pain! Did you have a EPOC or did you not need one? Did the scan show everything had come away as they should have been able to tell you yesterday if there was anything left as this can cause continued spotting etc?

Either way i sympathise but i think spotting for the first couple of months is normal - for me anyway.

You may not have had a big period because your lining may not be building up properly yet so soon after the m/c and so there is not as much to shed?

After my follow up scan the sonographer noticed my lining was very thin and actually predicted it would take me a while to conceive again as the lining could take many months to return to full thickness (she was right!).

After my mmc my first period was very light and only a couple of days (normally5-6) so it sounds normal but if worried phone GP.

Thankyou for replys! i was told after 1st scan it looked as i was passing naturally. then got an infection in my uterus, bladder, bowl and kidney - not nicee! lol but had alot of anti biotics for that and its okay now ( as far as ino ) and as for my scan yesterday she said there not aloud to tell me anything at all and i wasnt aloud too ask questions. she just takes images and passes them onto a dr/gyne then i go back for a chat! Well ure comments have reassured me anyways, i was for some reason expecting a really bad heavy period. then got this lol! was 7weeks ago so still quite soon after really, and i was 8weeks so prob take a little while :) x x x
