Infection :(

Hi there. My friend has miscarried and now got an infection.
Can u share ur experience of any infections, where and treatment?
Don't wan her to feel alone :) xxx

I've had 3 miscarriages and was prescribed antibiotics after dc's which I think was just precautionary. I doubt your friend's infection is too serious but she will need antibiotics fom her doctor.

Did they say u had an infection? What were u given?

i was given antibiotitcs as a precaution as i kept bleeding which can indicate an infection. She just needs to see her GP, they will be the only people who can prescribe the correct antibiotics for her.

She has been given metronidazole (I think that's how you spell it)
When do they kick in? Anyone else had these? What side effects?
