7 weeks since ERPC and still no AF

I had an ERPC on 6th Jan after a MMC. Had 12 week scan on 4th Jan which showed baby measuring 8 weeks. I had a previous scan at 5+6 which showed 5+6 baby so dates were right, so was able to have ERPC straight away.

I am a bit worried though as I still haven't had AF ? I have done pregnancy tests every week for the last 3 weeks and all negative.
Anyone else waited this long ?

Hi. I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope that you are bearing up ok at this difficult time. I had a MMC at 14 weeks last year and it took 9 loooooooong weeks for my AF to come back. I took about 10 tests in that time, seriously. It felt like forever - every day was so long, I just wanted to start TTC again and fill the hole of what I had lost. I also didn't ovulate for my first cycle (mother nature can be so mean sometimes). But my body gradually settled down again into its natural rhythms and I had a BFP again in January. So, I guess, hang in there and I really hope you get some happier news soon.

Thanks Beans. Great to hear things have worked out for you and you have another little Bean ! :)
I really didn't think it should take this long, the hospital said 4-6 weeks but I suppose we are all different.
We haven't used contraception since the ERPC, and I know it is wishful thinking, however I did conceive DD straight after an ectopic in 2008 before AF returned. DD was born 2 months after my first due date and I know being pregnant again really helped me heal.
Hope your pregnancy goes well, you must be due around September ?

havetowearheels sorry its taking so long for, must be so frustrating waiting, i know i want my body back to normal. I read up loads on when i'd get my period or ovulate after an ERPC and many women say it took them 7 or 8 weeks for their AF. If you're concerned see your GP, even if it is just for some reassurance.

Took 10 weeks for me the first time (MMC at 6 weeks, erpc 13 weeks), 4 or 5 weeks second time (have 3 lovely DCs now)

blackcat it is very frustrating. I have beautiful DD but so want her to have a sibling, what with DH and I both being only children. It took me a year to conceive last time and I feel like my clock is ticking VERY LOUDLY. I have an appointment with GP on Tuesday.

Scary thanks for that, reassures me a little. When the hospital said up to 6 weeks, I took that as worth case 6 weeks :( Lovely to hear you now have 3 children :)
