Hi,
how long did it take anyone to get a BFN after an ERPC? or when did the hospital say you should test? I didn't ask them, and am still testing positive 11 days after (counting day I had it done). Just getting frustrated, line is getting fainter but still there.

It took me 3-4 weeks I think, with AF coming about 5 weeks after.

Yes, but it doesn't really mean anything apart from all the pregnancy hormones are out of your system - i.e. if you feel ready to try again before that (and personally I am only just ready 3-4 months after my MMC) then you can start TTCing even before your first AF. I felt getting pregnant again straight away would be a knee jerk reaction, and I'm pleased we've waited to give us time to process what happened and see any future pregnancy as a thing in its own right, rather than a replacement. But each to their own!

Hope you feel better soon.

it took 5 days for me, but I had a mmc diagnosed at 12 weeks, though probably had happened 6 weeks earlier. the ERPC was at 14+ weeks and I had already had a lot of bleeding. so that might be why my BFN was so early.

2 weeks and a bit for me, both times. Each time I had had no bleeding prior to hospital treatment though so that might make a big difference. I think also the further along you are probably makes a difference. From what I read on here i think 2-3 weeks is fairly average for a first trimester miscarriage.

I was literally about to come on and ask the same thing. Lost baby on Monday last week and still getting + test today.

i'm updating for future reference. got a negative today 20 days on from ERPC (counting day it was done as it was so early in the morning!)
