Heavy bleed at 10+ weeks

Dont know what to do so hoping someone can give me advice.

About 10 +4 preg with dc 2. Also had an ectopic last year. Started massively heavy bleeding yesterday+ clots.

Got scan at epas and said could see baby's heartbeat but no sign of where blood coming from. Was v relieved but things no better today, looks like fresh blood with clots and wee bit of cramp. Should I phone back? Or is scan enough to know all is ok? They also looked inside and said cervix ok. Just so worried.

So sorry to hear that, I don't have any medical knowledge but I would definitely ring them back if you are still bleeding. Can't be too careful. Really hope you are ok xx

I had several heavy bleeds with clots with dc2 - each time scan was OK, cervix closed. In the end, it was due to cervical ectropian which is basically cells which should be growing inside, growing outside.

All was well in the end, though terrifying at the time. I hope it works out well for you too.
