Feeling sad

Don't really know why I am posting here, but just found out today that my friend is pregnant-due on the same day that mine would have been born. I lost mine at 9 weeks. (She didn't know I was pregnant).
I am happy for her, but I see her 5 days a week and am just so sad that I will see her getting bigger and more excited each week and thinking that it should have been me too. Thank you for reading.

i'm so sorry to hear you're going through this. I found out yesterday that i've had a MMC. Baby died at 8+2 (3 weeks ago) and i have a full week to wait before my ERPC. I went to supermarket today and the woman in front was chatting to cashier about her pregnancy (6 months along) and i just felt so very sad.
Can you tell your friend? Its going to be a hard thing for you to have to face right now.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I will tell her as I am quite a private person, hence posting on here! I was doing ok, but this has completely knocked me back, and I'm just seeing it as a constant reminder of what I have lost because the due dates are/were the same. Sad

its very hard. I too am very private but will have to tell line manager as i need time off, i really don't want to tell her (even though she is lovely). I've already decided to say I don't want to talk about it at all when i go back to work and she is to keep it confidential. Your friend isn't bound by confidentiality though. Sorry i have no good advice but keep open minded for now and see how things go. So many women have had a MC and don't talk about it in RL- probably as it is so upsetting, but good chance other women will be very understanding.
