This is my first pregnancy and I knew straight away that I was pregnant. My breast ballooned! Was a very pleasant surprise and both my partner and I were over the moon (about the pregnancy and also the breasts)
I had a very mixed bag of pregnancy test results but a very positive one from a well known digital brand. I went to my doctor straight away as I had some slight pain, a very high temperature and felt quite sickly, in the past I have had two operations to remove cysts on my ovaries but do not have PCO just very unlucky in developing one every now and then when I ovulate. My doctor referred me to the EGU at my local hospital for a scan the next day, they were unable to see anything but did find a 2cm cyst on my left ovary (which may explain the pain) so they decided to do a blood test to check my HCG levels and to also do another one 48hrs later.
The doctor phoned me the same day as my second blood test to inform me of the results, they were quiet low, the 1st one being 69.1 and the second one 48hrs later being 80.4. So the doctor decided that I should come back again in 48hrs for another test to see if there was an increase.
I had this test yesterday and have just received the results and unfortunately my level has dropped to 60.1- I'm waiting for find out from the doctor what this all means and what's to be done. I'm feeling really lost and confused at the moment and after one search online already fearing the worst... does anyone know what this all could be or mean?
