advice needed following an MMC and ERPC TMI warning.

I had a mmc resulting in an erpc on the 12th December, following I had light spotting for days, two days of heavy brown discharge then nothing.

Its now been 6wks, I spotted very lightly for two days this week, literally bit of pink / red blood when wiped a couple of times and then nothing. I have been over emotional and clumsy but that's nothing new tbh.

Me and dp have had sex but I'm pretty sure I won't be pregnant again, I'm just wondering what's normal?

I've had 3 x MMC / ERPC combos and tbh, 'normal' is a bit different for everyone (and sometimes each time). Your body has been pregnant, and may take a few months to settle down again to it's old routine (mine usually takes 2 or 3). Having said that, it's entirely possible you're pregnant too; some people fall again in the first month. Good luck either way!

I did wonder about testing just in case, unlikely I feel however, I'm concerned I'd get a positive from the mc, is that possible after 6wks?
Tbh the hospital were a bit crap for info and I left knowing nothing of what happens next.

Since it has been 6 weeks and you haven't had a proper period, I would advise you to take a pregnancy test. It ought to be negative by now. If it is, then you just have to wait for your cycle to get going again.

If it's positive there are two options. 1- you are pregnant with a new pregnancy or 2 - it's a positive from the mc. You would need to be seen by the EPAU where you were treated for the miscarriage. If the mc is still giving you a positive they need to make sure there is no retained tissue and the levels are going down.

Thank you kat I have a test somewhere left over from discovering the last pregnancy so I'm just going to give it a few days as I've been pretty hormonal/clumsy etc usual signs its on the way and if nothing ill test. Going to ring my EPAU tomorrow and just ask some questions.
