quick question about blood loss

had a erpc on the 30th dec bleeding stopped about 3/4 days ago bit thisevening iv had very dark lmost brown bleeding not very heavy at the mo is this normal and should i be worried?
if it makes a difference its been a really busy day and iv done lots of walking after not doing too much for a few days

Sorry about your miscarriage away. What a sad time. When I had an erpc last year I also bled as you have - after a while it slowed down but carried on after I had an active day. Take it easy for a few days if you can.

If it continues or becomes fresh the. I'd worry, but bleeding for 2 weeks is considered normal.
If in doubt phone, you won't be the only one today! I spent too long on the ward in the bed nearest the nurses station and the phone was hot with ladies asking the same thing.

I bled for around 2 weeks after I think. Take it easy xxx

thank you im still bleeding but its gone brown now and its only a tiny bit!

I had an erpc last Thu and the bleeding has been very stop/start which I think is usual. It seems to stop long enough for me to think that's it then I'll get some more, lovely.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm not taking any chances with this, the minute I've got even a tiny inkling something is wrong I'll be off to the gp, better for us and them as an infection caught early is much easier to treat than something that's been left. Good luck

thanks stopped last night been out thismorning and more bleeding but its brown dont know if i should worry or not!!

well i phoned the hospital as i was a bit worried and they have booked me in for a scan saturday morning

Hi away sorry for your loss. Exactly the same here, ERPC on the 5th jan, light bleeding till Tuesday. Then we had sex last night ( I know we should have waited really). Today have had very light spotting, dark blood. I'm hoping that it's just old stuff that was hanging around in my cervix that has been loosened by activity and semen ( sorry if TMI).

hi bonzo sorry for your loss too well had my scan and there is still something there so got to go back monday to be scaned by a doctor the lady who scanned me didnt seem that worried and said they might just monitor me instead of doing another op

Sorry to hear its not all sorted. I needed a second ERCP and felt sooooo much better after, don't be afraid to push for what you need. I almost did a sit in. PALS helped me get treatment I needed

I'm not going back about the spotting. I'm in no pain and have no temperature so I can't imagine i would be given anything other than reassurance.

afternoon how are we all? had another scan this morning and all is well just got to phone up Friday if im still bleeding
bonzo if you still keep bleeding please get checked as they thought there might be something left even if it is just for reassurance x
