I found out last week that I was in the very early stages of pregnancy when I went for my pre-op for lap and dye and the blood test came back positive. I was supposed to go back today for a repeat blood test. I POAS yesterday morning for reassurance and got a very definite negative. Last night I started bleeding.

The thing is that I'm convinced now that this happened before but I didn't know I was pregnant. I thought i was just having odd, heavy periods on a long cycle (i'm not clockwork) - but there is a pattern to the type of blood loss.

Anyway - what should I look out for? Is there anything I should let my GP/Consultant know?
My Consultant is an arse by the way, so I have to know my rights or he will fob me off (again and again).

Sorry for your loss :(
I just had my 2nd mc at 6 wks last 1 was at 12wk, how early were you?
From what I gather, if it is a very early mc like my last one you don't need to do anything as long as you continue to bleed like a period but my GP said to only get back in touch if it is prolonged bleeding, otherwise it will act like a period for you to start a fresh!
But I informed my GP as I wanted it on the record because after 3 mc in a row the nhs will then start to investigate, so maybe just ask them to put it on your file.
But definately try to talk to your GP as they may be more considerate than you think with what you are going through.
All the best x

i'm about 6 weeks....just...

I'm going to the hospital at 3 for a blood test which was already sceduled. I phoned this morning to let them know and they still want to see me. It'll go on my file, i'm already under the fertility unit.
